Based in Lagos, Nigeria, the architectural practice Urban & Contemporary Architects Ltd. (UCA) positions itself at the intersection of youthful innovation and contextual intelligence. - The “STACKS” development in Lekki 1 (Lagos) – a multi-unit residential scheme comprising seven units on a tight 849 m² site; the design includes vertical stacking, sky-garden roof and deliberate use of green roof elements to mitigate heat-island effect.
- The “Deenal School” remodelling in Yaba (Lagos) – an institutional project which rethinks classroom and outdoor spaces, uses steel-screen canopies and large glazing to enrich student experience.
- “House in Maitama”, a grand private residence on 2,135 m² in the FCT (Abuja) – developed to fully exploit hilly site views via expansive terraces and glazed walls, articulate interior-exterior relationship and generate a bold yet elegant form.
