Ministry Launches Competition On World Habitat Day - Luanda, 09/21 (Angop) - The Minister of Urbanisation and Environment, Diekumpuna Sita José, announced Saturday in Luanda, the creation of a competition called "Minua Universities 2008 Award" in matters of urbanism and architecture.
The minister who was speaking to press said that the prize aims at supporting the academic works and publicly recognizing the works developed in the Angolan universities and faculties.
In the ambit of competition, he refereed that there will be prizes in categories of urban planning, housing and social services.

Land Reserves Map for Housing Presented - Luanda, - A map of Land Reserve for housing purposes was presented Tuesday in Luanda, during a meeting that gathered the minister of Urbanisation and Environment, Diekumpuna Sita José, and vice governors of the country's provinces.
According to the Land Reserve Map, there are some 98,993 hectares of plots of land for distribution countrywide.
Speaking to ANGOP, Diekumpuna Sita José stated that the creation of these reserves will facilitate the government to create, until 2012.
