Government Threatens Stakeholders Over Building Collapses
By Chris Ochayi
The Federal Government has warned stakeholders in the building industry to ensure that no building collapses anywhere in the country henceforth, vowing to deal with culprits, if any building collapses in the country.
Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, who issued the warnin, weekend, attributed incidents of incessant building collapses in the country to greed, negligence and profiteering tendencies of one or all parties involved in the construction business.
Fashola, who made the remarks while speaking at the sixth Building and Construction Economic Roundtable, BCERT, in Abuja, said the current administration had zero tolerance for building collapse .
