Careers / Jobs: Planner - Nigeria


Due to the volume of ongoing work in Africa our Client needs a Planner based in Nigeria to support the growth of this multi disciplinary consultancy with their Head Office in Gauteng.
Your proven skills in the construction world (Building, civil, engineering) - developing the time, finance, safety plans for effective, safe and profitable projects to be delivered is a must. Degree or related building civil, engineering qualification with at least 15 years planning experience is essential We would expect you to have worked on MS Project, Primavera 6 or CCS.
Your responsibilities would include :
Create, maintain, review and administer construction schedules and plans
Liaising with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to organize the phases of the construction development
Keep the client team up to date on progress to present to the client
Present information for internal meetings on the project
Problem solving
Produce tender plans to support bids

Your ability to work within a multi cultural team is essential. We are looking for a problem solver who is detail orientated with strong organizational skills and an ability to work well under pressure keep his finger on the pulse.

Normal expat package with R & R back to South Africa is offered as you would be based in Nigeria visiting various sites. We are also looking for a Snr Civils Project Construction Manager for Nigeria as well.
