Lagos — A Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja has ordered immediate remand of the two engineers, Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun who constructed the collapsed building within the premises of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in the Ikotun area of Lagos.

Justice Lateef Lawal-Akapo who gave the order at a proceeding yesterday specified that the engineers be kept at the Kirikiri Maximum Prisons, Lagos pending the determination of the court.

The two engineers had previously been indicted by a Coroner inquest set up by the Lagos State Government to investigate factors responsible for the collapse of a six-storey building within the premises of SCOAN in September 2014.
