Kakatar Group, a Nigerian construction and engineering company, has tasked government at all levels to patronise indigenous construction firms as part of efforts to showcase made in Nigeria products to the outside world.

The construction company, which made the call in Abuja shortly after receiving an award of excellence organised by Murya Magazine, also stressed that many indigenous companies were doing well, or even better than their foreign counterparts in the sector.

Speaking to journalists, the Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Barr. Babalola Robert, who was represented at the occasion by the Site Manager, Maitama District, Engr. Suleiman Hashim, said the indigenous companies were more determined to build the nation's road networks since they had no other country to go.
