Sankwasa Blasts Black Contractors

WORKS deputy minister James Sankwasa has blasted 'black' contractors who do sub-standard work, saying the situation has become worrisome.
Sankwasa was speaking on Monday at the road to certification of MPP Civils Namibia. Road to certification is when a company gets certified to operate in the construction industry.
He said roads built before independence have been used for a number of years without any renovations, but those built recently are “used for a year, then it's under renovation. Inspectors of works, what were they inspecting?” he questioned.
Sankwasa also touched on what he termed 'the notorious Omuthiya hospital'.
