Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) - Draft Standard for Professional Service Provider (PSP) Performance Reports for Professional Services in Engineering and Construction Works (14 May 2015) – REQUEST FOR COMMENT (Closing date: 31 August 2015)
The CIDB encourages that Professional Services are appointed on the basis of eligibility and functionality criteria which includes time management, management of resources, co-operative relations and standard of service. To this end, the CIDB intends to implement a Register of Professional Service Providers (PSP's) which will be used for the purposes of managing procurement risks through assessing the suitability of PSP's for pre-qualification, selective tender lists or expressions of interests and the adjudication for the award of a contract.
SACAP is one of the Built Environment Professional Councils (B.E.P.C’s) that is participating in the development of this register. As part of the consultative process, we would like to request your assistance as an Architectural Professional who will be required to use this document after it has been tested and implemented.
SACAP would like to request that you provide comment with respect to the structure and content of the information contained herein, after you have completed the self-assessment of the draft Professional Services Providers Performance Reports for Professional Services contained in the following hyperlink (click on the link to access the document) :
