Angolan Head of State Deems Luanda Master Plan Profound
Luanda - The Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, last Thursday in Luanda deemed of “great profundity” the project connected to the Metropolitan General Master Plan for Luanda drafted and presented by the company Urbinveste Promotion and Real Estate Projects.
Delivering a brief speech, before the start of last Thursday’s meeting of the Strategic Co-ordination Council, the Angolan Head of State said that this programme is an important instrument for the execution of all the necessary actions for the development of Luanda Province.
“We are here together to study matters relating to the Master Plan for Luanda province, so after a long period of study and discussion about the solutions to modernize and develop the capital, we see Urbeinveste, a hired company, presenting us a proposal of Master Plan (...), said President José Eduardo dos Santos, who is also the Head of the Executive.
In his intervention, José Eduardo dos Santos revealed that this is the final version after three meetings linked to the project.
During the meeting, it was presented the final version of the Metropolitan General Master Plan for Luanda and a document from the Ministry of Urbanisation and Housing, as well as the master plans for the districts of Cazenga, Sambizanga and Rangel (Luanda districts).
The same gathering also analysed the report of the activities carried out by the technical unit for the management of sanitation in Luanda and the drainage project for the district of Kilamba, in Belas Municipality of Luanda Province.
