The other day, many online readers were surprised to read that Dr. Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana was actually talking about solar energy and other scientific and technological initiatives 51 years ago1. We are saying that is evidence of “Strategic Forecasting”. “Strategic Forecasting” is an old concept with a new name, better methods, and more effective tools. The world, after all, has advanced technologically and scientifically, as we’ve seen varying improvements in the living conditions of humans since 1964, the year Kwame Nkrumah made the speech at Kwabenya.
