40% of Kenya's Runda Mall snapped up

CONSTRUCTION of the $27 million (Sh2.9 billion) Rosslyn Riviera Mall in Nairobi’s upmarket Runda estate is 50 per cent complete.
The project manager has also said that 40 per cent of space is also booked, underlining the rising demand for space in shopping malls investment in malls in the capital’s retail market.
The proposed mall, which broke ground in August, last year, is being developed by Thaara Ltd. It is expected to open its doors for business by mid next year.
The three-floor shopping complex will add 116,000 square feet of retail space into the market targeted at shops, restaurants, entertainment and wellness outlets, according to its promoter Knight Frank.
