Rivers Begins Construction of Auto Complex

Port Harcourt — Rivers State Government at the weekend performed the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of an Ultra-Modern Spare Parts Dealers and Automobile Technicians Complex in the state as a manifestation of government's on-going efforts towards achieving organized development.

Governor, Nyesom Wike who inaugurated the construction of the complex located at kilometre 17 Aba Road in Obio/Alpor Local Government Area of the state, assured that if completed the project would not only create employment for the indigenes but would bring orderliness.

He noted that since the creation of the state in 1967, the Spare Parts Dealers and Automobile technicians have operated haphazardly in unplanned locations and uncertain sections around the Port Harcourt metropolis and its environs like Ikuku and Olu-Obasanjo Road thereby hindering development of the areas.
