No Going Back On Demolition - El-Rufa'i

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufa’i, said yesterday that nothing would stop his administration from demolishing all structures erected on school premises and other government institutions.

Speaking at a town hall meeting in Barewa College, Zaria, el-Rufa’i said it would be a disservice to the people if such land encroachments were allowed.

“I wish to advise people who erected residential buildings on government premises to vacate such places before the expiration of the deadline to avoid any form of embarrassment.

“Those who erected structures on the premises of Alhudahuda College should note that Wednesday, August 5 is the deadline and there is no going back. If anybody fails to remove his/her structures, he/she should blame himself/herself,” el-Rufa’i said.
