TBA Out to Build Houses for Civil Servants
TANZANIA Building Agency (TBA) has initiated housing projects in efforts to ensure civil servants own houses. TBA Chief Executive Officer, Mr Elius Mwakalinga said here yesterday that its research has determined that many civil servants are in dire need of houses as they own none.
Mr Mwakalinga said the challenge is huge because the number of houses needed as of now is about 400,000 all over the country.
The officer said they carried out the research with The President’s Office (Public Service Management) and now his agency has started the project by constructing 10,000 houses.
