Tile Africa supplies tiles at Nedbank sani2c villages

With the increase of people participating in local cycling events, this year’s Nedbank sani2c participants can expect an even better experience. As part of updating and building permanent venues for cyclists participating in the three-day mountain bike race, Tile Africa supplied tiles to the Nedbank sani2c villages on route.

The registration and start of the race moved to the Glencairn Farm in Sani Pass where permanent fixtures have been upgraded to give riders a more pleasurable experience by supplying them with quality, world-class facilities.

Projects at Glencairn Farm and Jolivet are well under way and will be completed in 2016. Jolivet, one of the resting sites for the race, will have renovated medical, masseurs, and shower and toilet facilities as well as a beautifully tiled new kitchen and dining area.

“In the process of the renovations, the two upgrades have created close to 10 000 man days of construction. Furthermore, the job creation has upskilled local residents and has enabled them to be employed as builders, carpenters and plumbers; which can enable them to become future entrepreneurs,” says Craig Irvine Commercial Operations Executive at Tile Africa.
