CEO Real Estate - Mauritius

Recently registered Mauritian Real Estate company. Shraeholders are an international private equity lending group and the top company in the top 100 companies in Mauritius with diverse interests including a large track of prime land that needs to be sensitively developed. Currently operating in Mauritius with 9 staff (Development Director, Project Managers, Feasibility Specialist and General Staff).
Position:
Your function as a deal maker with proven track record is of utmost importance as well as the ability to work at Board level dealing with top level Government Officials and Private Investors to conclude development deals. You would be required to set strategic goals and objectives, fulfil all governance functions, and give direction and leadership to achieve. In order to fulfil your objective you would be required to have experience encompassing the entire property development cycle.
Your main functions will be:
Have an acute sense of project positioning
JV structuring
Financial modelling
Overall business strategy definition
Communication with Board
Set vision and objectives
Create and define strategy to delive goals and objectives
Organisation and management
Management team leadership
Building culture, creating a brand
This property development/management organisation will operate across all sectors including hospitality, retail office and industrial properties
Ideal candidates would need to have a relevant degree, come from Europe, India, South Africa or Australia and have a proven track record in property development in various locations preferably in Africa, the Ocean Islands.
