A Pre-Contract Manager is sought to lead the pre-qualification, proposal and tendering process from inception to contract award. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in a progressive multinational organisation.
Reporting to the General Manager, part of the Executive Management Team, this is a highly visible, hands-on role with responsibility for Pre Contract Management within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This is a business critical appointment and as such the individual will play a key role in the successful delivery of the Saudi Arabia business plan.
You will be responsible for the pre-qualification, proposal and tendering process.
You will lead a team of estimators, quantity surveyors, planners and engineers supported by colleagues in other departments as and when required.
You will have detailed market knowledge and extensive contacts that will help identify appropriate partners and subcontractors.
You will be responsible for market intelligence and competitor analysis.
You will demonstrate commercial acumen and contractual awareness and you will be able to contribute and provide a high level credibility to both to contractual or technical discussions.
Previous operational experience would be useful and a knowledge of the Saudi market with clients and the supply chain is essential.
You will work strictly in accordance with the limits of authority and corporate governance framework.
Candidates will have an excellent track record in Pre-Contract Management ideally in an international construction organisation with at least 20 years experience.
A minimum of 10 years hands-on Saudi Arabian and GCC Pre-Contract Management experience. Ideally fluent in English and Arabic.
You will have excellent leadership and communication skills and strong client management and relationship building skills.
Capable of influencing and motivating teams to achieve enhanced results.
Demonstrate strong commercial and contractual acumen and JV management experience.
You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, determined, highly organised.
You will have a flexible and ‘hands on’ approach to work and be able to communicate and represent the company at all levels.
