Responsibilities:
This is an Divisional Head Office based Senior Management Level position that focuses on the following:
• Subcontract Procurement Management
• Subcontract Management (Variations, Valuations and Payment)
• Subcontract Final Account approval
• Main Contract Variation/Contractual Claim approval
• Employer Payment application submission/negotiation/agreement
• Main Contract Final Account submission/negotiation and agreement
• Cost, Revenue and Forecasting
• Monthly Project Reporting
• Commercial Human Resource Management

Subcontractor and Major Supplier
Procurement Process
Subcontractor and Major Supplier/Mngt - Provisional Sums and Nominated Subcontractors
Main Contract Administration – General & Project Imitation, Claims, VO’s & Disputes, Payments & Applications
Bonds and Guarantees
Project Insurances
Legal and Contractual Issues
Cost and Revenue Controls
Project Cash flows and Flexible
Budget Reporting
Project Forecasting, reporting
Commercial Audit
Staff Recruitment/Management
Qualifications/Experience:
• IQS/RICS Professional Qualification.
• Degree in construction related technical
discipline-civil, building, construction / Quantity
Surveying.
• 20 years minimum contracting experience in
commercial role- quantity surveying, contract,
administration, cost management, claims
management etc., including 5 years overseas
experience.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of Contract Administration
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of cost control and forecasting
• Final Account preparation, negotiation and close out
• Contractual Claims preparation, negotiation and close out
• Understanding and ability to use computerized cost control systems
• Provide commercial assistance and advice on prospective value engineering measure to the Project Director
• Experience in the region an advantage
