PROCUREMENT MANAGER – Saudi International Construction Organisation
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a rapidly growing company with operations in more than twenty countries throughout the Middle East, Asia and Australia. The company has experienced a number of years of growth and is now one of the world’s major project development and contracting organisations offering skills and services to public and private sector clients across a wide range of industries and geographic locations. These skills include engineering and infrastructure construction, infrastructure development, property development and building construction, contract mining and operations and maintenance.
Reports to the Group Procurement Manager in Riyadh and be responsible for successfully manage all aspects of the procurement department with the objective of securing quality goods and services at the lowest possible prices.
Our Client needs a standalone person who is able to work within a multi cultural work environment, keep his finger on the pulse, able to negotiate and be able to develop and maintain a good network of contacts. You would either need an engineering qualification or a quantity surveying qualification but it is essential that you have a proven track record in procurement with a reputable large building/civil contractor internationally.
To review and validate the information (on project suppliers, amounts/ value, cost code information, etc.) for any purchase order that goes out to suppliers in order to manage cost and quality of supplies ordered.
To maintain database of suppliers and pricing in order to obtain quality products at lowest prices negotiable in the market
To raise and administer all purchase orders in order to ensure effective consolidation and centralization
To update the tracking system on a regular basis on status of purchase orders in order to ensure accurate tracking of purchase orders in terms of goods delivery, invoices received, and payments made.
To manage timely payment to suppliers for goods and services (e.g. transportation) received in order to ensure there are no disruptions to services and supplies
To generate and reconcile bank and petty cash reports as required for Company management in order to be in line with accounting procedures

Salary per month - 25000 SAR to 35000 SAR. US$ 7,500 to 8,600 pm depending on your skills and value to the organisation.
