Zimbabwe: City Buys U.S.$2,6 Million Road Equipment

[The Herald]Harare City Council has acquired state-of-the-art engineering equipment valued close to US$2,6 million for road maintenance and repair of the city's major roads. Most of the city's roads have been plagued with potholes posing a danger to motorists. Speaking at the unveiling of the equipment yesterday, Local Government, Public Works and National Housing Deputy Minister Cde Biggie Matiza said the equipment would help in achieving a pothole-free road network in the city.
