Urban Planning Survey Reveals - 85,000 Houses in Freetown


[Concord]Freetown, the capital city of Sierra Leone, has 85,000 houses, according to the Urban Planning Project Coordinator at the Freetown City Council (FCC), Abdul Karim Marah. Marah revealed in an exclusive interview with Concord Times that funds provided by the European Union (EU) had enabled the municipal council to for the first time, through satellite images and enumerators on the ground, ascertain the quantum of both residential and commercial houses in Freetown.
