Fulfilling Housing Promise

[This Day]Aisha Wakaso writes about the effort of the government of Niger State to provide housing to its residents The acute shortage of houses in Niger State has forced many to live in shanties, not good enough to be inhabited by human beings. With a deficit of over 16 million houses in the country, plans by the federal and state government to provide more and affordable housing for the citizenry remains a mirage. Thus, acquisition of decent houses remains the privilege of the rich, high and mighty in the society.
