Situated near the industrial periphery of Corato, in the province of Bari in Southern Italy, the building responds to the company's need to expand production and simultaneously renovate its image. In the shadow of a giant silo, powerful icon of the company in the region, the building from its interior spaces to its relationship with the industrial fabric, reveals an unforeseen architectural expression and work environment.

Alvisi Kirimoto + Partners is currently cooperating with Rem Koolhaas's office, OMA, in the project management of the ex-Mercati Generali project in Rome and the Prada Foundation in Milan, Italy. The studio was also selected by Luca Zevi, curator of the Italian Pavilion in the 13th International Architecture Venice Biennale 2012, for the exhibit Architecture for the Made in Italy. Among their other prominent projects in progress are: the Bulgari Winery in San Casciano dei Bagni (Siena), Italy; the Tenuta di Carma Spa in Civita di Bagnoregio, Italy; the Aleksandrinsky Theatre interior in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
