Construction of Second Container Terminal Begins in Kilindini

[The Star]Congestion at the Mombasa port will soon be a thing of the past. Construction of the second Container Terminal at Kilindini Harbour has begun at a cost of 28 billion shillings. The Terminal will accommodate the current container volumes of about 770,000 Units and be able to cater for the projected container increase in excess of 960,000 Units by 2015.
