Angola : Housing Minister Sacked
Luanda - The Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, dismissed this Saturday, by decree, Diekumpuna Sita José and Amadeu de Jesus Castelhano Maurício, the latter at his own request, from the post of minister of Urbanisation and Housing and governor of the Reserve Bank of Angola, respectively.
According to a press release from the services of assistance to the President, the statesman also discharged José dos Santos da Silva Ferreira from the post of deputy minister of Urbanisation and Housing, Abraão Pio do Amaral Gourgel, as the deputy minister of Industry, Emílio José de Carvalho Guerra, as the Angolan ambassador to Gabon, and Almerindo Jaka Jamba as the ambassador to UNESCO.
On the other hand, the Head of State appointed, by decree, José dos Santos da Silva Ferreira and Abraão Pio do Amaral Gourgel, to the posts minister of Urbanisation and Housing and as the governor of the Reserve Bank of Angola, respectively, as well as José Marcos Barrica as the Angolan ambassador to Portugal.
The President also appointed Emílio de Carvalho Guerra as the Angolan ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Evaristo Domingos Kimba as the ambassador to Sao Tome and Principe, and Victor Manuel da Fonseca Lima as the ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain. ANGOP
