Kenya: German Bank Funds Kisumu Model Schools

The German Development Bank has funded the construction of model schools in Kisumu city and other urban areas as a poverty reduction strategy in the country. Speaking during a tour of the second phase of the rehabilitation of four schools in Kisumu, German ambassador to Kenya Mergit Hellwig-Boette, said education is key to poverty reduction in the country.
