Our Architects – a notable international one stop design shop (interiors, lighting, landscaping and obviously architecture) supplies high tech, top end hotel projects to clients based in various locations around the world.
We need a South African (could be an architect or a quantity surveyor) who is passionate about the legal aspects of contracts related to the design services contract between the architectural practice and their Clients! You would work on up to 20 projects simultaneously.
Your previous experience around 10 plus years handling this is essential. You would be required to write the contract, agree terms, ensure all signatures are in place, follow up throughout the project completion to ensure payment throughout and negotiate final accounts with their clients. We need someone who thinks on his feet, keeps his finger on the pulse and is meticulous with a proven track record.
Architects, please be assured there is no opportunity for you to design or handle any architectural duties – we need a contractual and legal fanatic!
In return this successful practice offers an initial contract of 6 months probation; thereafter you would re-negotiate your contract on a permanent basis. This is a long term opportunity. Company will supply accommodation. Could suit a single person or a young married couple.
As this is not a “hardship appointment” Malaysian tax would apply – which is somewhere between 16/26% depending on package. Package would be in the vacuity of R50K plus. Although you are not going to become wealthy but can certainly save, have a really good lifestyle and an opportunity to be involved with notable international projects.
