Bett Gives Two Weeks to Quit Road Reserve
The owner of Tamarind hotel and other developments in Mkomani have been given two weeks to report to Transport minister Franklin Bett over their establishments which have been built on road reserve. Yesterday Bett said the structures need to be demolished to pave way for a possible second bridge. "Within 14 days, the owners of these properties must see me. If they fail I will know they have surrendered to the demolitions," said Bett after touring Mkomani and Madhuba beach.
