Pladur® ha inaugurado la fábrica de placas de yeso laminado en Gelsa, Zaragoza. Una fábrica que tuvo que paralizar su construcción por motivo de la crisis pero que ha vuelto con fuerza gracias a la internacionalización de la firma y porque en estos años la utilización de placas de yeso laminado, las antiguas placas de cartón yeso, han pasado, en nuestro país, de ser un elemento de una utilización limitada a estar presente en muchas de las soluciones de construcción en seco que más se demandan.

La nueva fábrica ocupa una superficie de 37.000 m² y en ella se prevén fabricar 12 millones de m2 de placa de espesores desde 6,5 mm a 18 mm, tipo standard, antihumedad, contra el fuego, acústicas y soluciones de aislamiento térmico, acreditas por las certificaciones de Aenor (España) y CSTB (Francia).

Kevin Roche, Celebrated Designer of Post-War America, Passes away at 96

Kevin Roche, the Irish-American architect and Pritzker laureate known whose modernist sensibility transformed America’s post-war cultural and corporate institutions, has died of natural causes in his home in Guilford, Connecticut. News of Roche’s passing was first posted to the website of his office, Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates late on 02 March. He was 96 years old.
