Highly successful engineering contract handling civil engineer, non-residential buildings, industrial, multidisciplinary projects for the oil and gas industry as well as marine, waterfronts, harbour developments need further staff due to ongoing work load. Reporting to the project manager directly with functional reporting to the Engineering Manager/Project Quantity Surveyor your primary function would be to provide technical engineering advice regarding pre-construction, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of projects. Provide a link between the engineering and construction teams and any external consultants, specialist trade contractors undertaking project deliverable and planning. Highly focused, confident person who has good leadership, persuasive, problem solver who is able to motivate others. Excellent communicator who inspires on challenges and strives to ensure deliverability is achieved on these projects which range up to a few US$billion. Minimum B Sc Engineering (civil/building/mechanical), 5 years practical experience as technical engineer/civil engineer of which at least should be as site engineer with notable contractor handling similar projects internationally.
