GSU Homes Along Thika Road to Be Demolished

HUNDREDS of General Service Unit officers living at Drive-In-Estate along Thika Road risk spending Christmas out in the cold after the High Court ordered the demolition of their 196 maisonettes. The GSU servicemen and hundreds of residents living on adjacent plots are affected by an eviction order issued on November 24, 2011 by Lady Justice Koome. The order will also see the removal of Rafiki Enterprises from the 28-acre piece of land which is owned by Afrison Export Import Limited and Huelands Limited.
