Second prize at the National Architectural Competition for the Design of Andhra Pradesh Open University at
Hyderabad, March 1988.

Of Civil Aviation Training Center at Allahabad, in October 1989.

Overview of the development of Modern Architecture in India from 1880 to 1980 based on the book 'Architecture and Independence: A search for Identity-India 1880 to 1980 by Lang, Desai and Desai. (Will also include more contemporary building and design practices).

Lecture 2 - 2nd Year Design class Wits A2, 11:15

The Wooden Architecture of Kerala- a stand-alone genre in the Indian and perhaps Asian context. The secular and the religious architecture including the dwelling types, institutions and special buildings will be discussed.
Wednesday 11th May
Lecture 3 - University Pretoria Dept of Architecture, 13:30

Basic Design, a course developed by the author, illustrated through the work of First Year Students of past 25 years. Development of visual perception, understanding of visual language and the issues related to object and building design, expressional skills as can be taught to the students with rational background of science stream in their schooling and without any exposure to humanities and the arts.
