The Japanese Government through the Justice and Security Trust Fund managed by UNDP, provided $US1million dollars to have the facility renovated. The Buildings which were constructed in 1984, but destroyed during Liberia's civil war, is situated on Camp Johnson Road in Monrovia and have 17 apartments and other facilities in each of them.
