Architect Africa Student Film Festival

On Sunday, 27 September 2009, the Architect Africa Film Festival will host three film screenings at the Architecture Student Congress 09, at the University of Pretoria. The screenings will be: 1. The winning short films from the Moving Spaces student competition, sponsored by the Cement & Concrete Institute; 2. A Convenient Truth: Urban Solutions from Curitiba, Brazil; and Barcelona Blueprint; 3. The Next Industrial Revolution; and Living in the Landscape. The cost for tickets for the Sunday evening screenings is R150, and will include access to two film screenings, at 18h00 and 20h00 respectively, and a book launch. The screenings will be held in the Centenary Building on the UP campus in Hatfield. As the event is CPD-accredited and seats are limited, booking through the Pretoria Institute for Architecture is essential. Tickets will not be available at the door.
