Truvada Receives FDA Approval

Truvada -- a common anti-retroviral drug in Zimbabwe -- has been given the nod for use as an HIV-prevention tool in high-risk negative people. The approval was given by an advisory panel to the Food and Drug Administration in the United States this week after the majority of experts voted for licensing of the drug.
