'Privatise Power Imports'

Financial Gazette (Harare)-Lawmakers have recommended that government should end ZESA Holdings' monopoly on the importation of electricity, citing the parastatal's failure to guarantee power supplies. In two separate Parliamentary reports, Members of Parliament also revealed that a dispute between ZESA Holdings and Green Fuels, which is involved in ethanol blending in Chisumbanje, has seen 18 Megawatts (MW) going to waste at a time when the country is experiencing load shedding.
