Journalist Wins Case Against Alpha Media

AN independent arbitrator has awarded fired NewsDay political editor Kelvin Jakachira almost US$20 000 after ruling that Alpha Media Holdings had no right to terminate his employment contract. The newspaper group was also accused of failing to abide by its employment code of conduct by using it selectively.
