Govt Shortlists Three Investors to Revive Kamativi Mine

GOVERNMENT has shortlisted three investors bidding to partner Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation in reviving Kamativi Mine, 15 years after the tin mine closed operations, an official said last Friday. "We had 67 bidders and went through the valuations process and we are now left with three firms which are joint ventures between foreigners and locals," ZMDC general manager Mr Jerry Ndlovu said in an interview on the sidelines of the Chamber of Mines annual conference in Victoria Falls.
