"I love working with bright colours. They make people happy." That's the simple explanation 27-year-old Zimbabwean painter Jonathan Madzinga gives for his predilection for red, yellow and blue. 'New beginnings' is the name of his exhibition that ran this until earlier this month at the Klein Afrika gallery in the Dutch village of Marknesse. And RNW caught up with the artist to find out just what he was beginning.
