Lagos Needs Waste Baskets On Roads -
The current effort by the Lagos State government at beautifying the state may continue to suffer. It is not that the right work is not being done at the right place, but there is a fundamental flaw in the area of refuse management. Though there are PSP refuse trucks everywhere parking the tons of refuse generated in the state daily, the way refuse litters parts of the roads is still nothing to write home about. [

Transport - a Welcome Initiative in Lagos State -
This newspaper enthusiastically welcomes the sensible initiative on the transportation front embarked upon by the Lagos State Government. It is of course still early days, nevertheless the Lagos State Government should be given every support and encouragement in implementing the new policy thrust. The Enugu Golf Club course will soon become all green, the captain of the club, Charles Asogwa, disclosed on Monday.
