Founding fathers of the Mambilla Plateau in the present Taraba State had envisioned it as a haven for local and international tourists to Nigeria because of its limitless natural wealth and excellent humidity, which is second to none on the continent.But after touring the Mambilla Plateau recently, Soni Daniel and John Mkom report that despite its beauty and huge tourism potentials, a potpourri of forces are threatening to undermine its status as a preferred tourist destination in Nigeria.
