'Jigawa Assembly Not a Rubber Stamp of the Executive'

No meaningful development can be achieved in an atmosphere of bigotry and animosity, hence the resolve of the Jigawa State House of Assembly House to work in tandem with the executive. According to the Speaker, Adamu Ahmed Sarawa, that is among the reasons the Assembly operates almost seamlessly and in peace for the benefit of all. In this interview with Special Correspondent Abubakar Sharada in Dutse, Sarawa assesses the performance of the House in the last four years and forecasts a bleak future for Nigeria in the face of the recent violence rocking the nation.
