Before Fraud Sinks Nigeria

[Leadership]In the Olusegun Obasanjo administration, Nigerians were inundated with the Halliburton bribery scandal conservatively put at N27 billion. Early this year, another fraud broke out in the petroleum sector as about N1.7 trillion was claimed to have been spent as oil subsidy in one year alone. Following immediately was the exposure of a police pension fund scam worth over N32 billion. Not done, the news broke early last week of another N300 billion pension fund scam in the Power sector.
