SINCE the unceremonious removal of Chief Okwesilieze Nwodo in the build-up to the 2011 general election, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been without a substantive National Chairman. Its acting National Chairman, Dr. Bello Haliru Mohammed has been nominated for ministerial position by President Goodluck Jonathan, contrary to the speculation that his position might be regularised as the substantive chairman of the party.
