CBN Leaves Interest Rate At 12 Percent, Devalues Naira

THE Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) yesterday left its benchmark interest rate -the Monetary Policy Rate MPR) - unchanged at 12 per cent, dousing speculations in some quarters that the increase in inflation rate for October would lead to a fresh hike in the rate.
