Daily Champion (Lagos)-Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Hon. Zakari Mohammed, has alleged a high level plot by suspected beneficiaries of the ill-administered petroleum subsidy removal to scuttle the fundamental objectives of the on-going probe by the House Ad-hoc Committee on subsidy regime.

Female Bomber Arrested in Abuja

Daily Champion (Lagos)-What could have been another Boko Haram tragic incident this year, was averted over the weekend, by staff of a private security firm, Encouragers Security company Limited, thwarted attempt by a female suicide bomber, suspected member of the deadly Islamic sect, Boko Haram from gaining entrance into the complex of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) with explosives.

Wada Takes Over as Kogi Governor

Abdullahi Bello sacked the state executive council, the state governor elect, Captain Idris Wada alongside his deputy governor elect, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi yesterday resumed in their respective offices as the duly elected governor and deputy governor of the state.
