35,000 Households to Benefit From Improved Legumes - At least 35,000 households in Kano and Kaduna States will benefit from legumes yield improvement programme initiated by the Bellinda and Bill Gate foundation with collaboration with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA). Communal Strife - Victims' Families Flood Ebonyi Govt House - Reprieve is still far from the families of victims of Ezza, Ezillo communal strife where so many have lost their lives. Since May 10, 2008 when the crisis started, the number of casualties is said to have risen to over 400 and this number keeps rising . Four Foreigners Kidnapped in Rivers, Policeman Killed - Four expatriates including three Syrians and a Lebanese working in the construction sector in Rivers state were abducted by gunmen, and a policeman was killed in the attack, police spokeswoman Rita Abbey said on Friday.
