Transport - a Welcome Initiative in Lagos State -
This newspaper enthusiastically welcomes the sensible initiative on the transportation front embarked upon by the Lagos State Government. It is of course still early days, nevertheless the Lagos State Government should be given every support and encouragement in implementing the new policy thrust. For one, it is a welcome departure from the uncoordinated efforts of the recent past.

Enugu Golf Course Goes Green Soon -
The Enugu Golf Club course will soon become all green, the captain of the club, Charles Asogwa, disclosed on Monday. Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Governor Pro-Am Open in Enugu, Asogwa said the proposed green course would compare favourably with other golf courses within and outside Nigeria. [
