Massive Increase in Doctors' Salaries

Bus Workers Bemand an End to Deductions from Wages

[AIM] Maputo - A group of 68 workers of the Maputo Bus Company (TPM) signed a petition in January, asking the company management to cancel the contributions from their wages which are paid to the local trade union committee and to the local branch of the ruling Frelimo Party.

Fishing Quotas for Namibian Companies

Cotton Harvest of 85,000 Tonnes Expected

[AIM] Maputo - Production of raw cotton in Mozambique this year is set to reach 85,000 tonnes, an increase of almost 20 per cent on last year's figure of 71,000 tonnes, according to Norberto Mahalambe, director of the Mozambique Cotton Institute (IAM).

Agreement to Rehabilitate Nampula Drainage System
