Huge Investment Likely for Liquefied Natural Gas

The Houston-based oil and gas company Anadarko is proposing to the Mozambican government the establishment of a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facility in the far north of the country, which could produce a billion cubic feet of gas a day.

Contract Signed for Nacala Dam - The Mozambican branch of the US aid programme, the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA), and the South African contractor WBHO Construction signed a contract in Maputo on Monday for the rehabilitation of the Nacala dam, in the north of the country. [AA Network News]
